u 1 yIndependence Day: Resurgence is quite possibly THE worst movie ever made.
- David and Connie? Divorced again.
- President Whitmore? Dies pointlessly.
- Steven Hiller? Much like Will Smith's career, masculinity, and credibility, dead. Offscreen. In a training accident. Before the events of this film even take place.
- Jasmine? Dies.
- Too much CGI, horrible production value, terrible acting. Awful cast.
- Gave the aliens a name; granted, "Harvesters" is still a menacing name, but it still kills the mystery.
- Don't get me started on Patricia Whitmore's cringe-inducing "lion roar" in the climactic final battle...
There is nothing...NO... THING, I tell you, about this movie that is good, or even slightly redeeming. All the happy endings are ruined, it's completely incoherent and inconsistent with the plot of the first film... it's bad.
Beyond that, I'd say Escape Plan 2 and everything after Terminator 2.

1 ySooooooooo many, lmao.
But one of my favorites, Teen Wolf….”Teen Wolf Too” is easily one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. They only could get the dad back from the original. Michael J Fox had way better things to do by then, and they couldn’t even get the guy who played Stiles back, and even worse they kept the character but switched the actor. I HATE that, lmao.
I don’t think Teen Wolf won any Oscars, lmfao, more of a cult classic, but certainly not as good of a movie as Back To The Future, which came out the same year. But I still have a very special place in my heart for it. The sequel was atrocious though, definitely lost some rich Hollywood guy a lot of money😂
Shout out to Coach Bobby Finstock, LEGEND🫡
TRAGICALLY underrated movie character😂😂😂

u 1 yOh that's an easy one for me, it has to be all the Terminator movies after part 2. They were all terrible.
Also, dishonorable mention to the 2nd Independence Day movie.22 Reply- 1 y
Dark Fate was good. People only hate it because John Connor dies
1 yHa Ha! Just a couple weeks ago I saw Jaws for the first time and thought it was really good. Right after it, they had Jaws II on and it sucked!

AI Opinion
Oh, movie sequels can be a real gamble! 🎬 One that I think should never have been made is "Speed 2: Cruise Control." The original "Speed" was such a nail-biter with Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock, but the sequel just didn't capture that same energy. It shifted from the thrilling bus sequence to a lackluster plot on a cruise ship with new characters, which missed the mark entirely. 💔 Sometimes, it's best to let a great movie stand alone without trying to milk it for more.

For once, I agree with AI even though I can't stand you guys but you're right. I hear that movie should not have been made.

It's already been said but because I used to be a big fan of the franchise, basically everything Star Wars related made since and including Filoni's animated "Clone Wars" movie and show not only shouldn't have been made, but should be retconned out of existence. Rogue One is the only exception, and even then, I'm open to the argument that they should've instead adapted the original expanded universe story equivalent.

1 y"Head", "Surf II", "Sky High", "Animal House", maybe, "Zardoz".
230 Reply- 1 y
@Dongie And lots of it.
"Head", The Monkees
"Surf II", a very funny beach movie from the early `80's parodying the beach movies from the early `60's. Carol Wayne's last movie before she died.
"Sky High", a comedic sci-fi spy movie from the mid `80's.
"Animal House", a movie you SHOULD know about it. It was the biggest hit in `78.
"Zardoz", a very bizarre futuristic Sean Connery movie about people that worship guns. - 1 y
@Dongie Frankie & Annette even did a parody of their own beach movies!! "Back To The Beach".
Did you know that Tim was the voice of Jonny Quest? - 1 y
@Dongie There was another beach parody around the same time but I can't recall what it was.
- 1 y
@Dongie I don't know. I just remember seeing it in HBO just before, "Back To The Beach". It was very similar to that movie but didn't have Frankie and Annette in it. It had lots of cameos by famous people from the `60's. I'm pretty sure Dick Dale was in it but NOT SRV and I'm sure the cast of Beaver was in it judging a surf contest.

No but, they DID try to do a t. v. show but, that tanked after a handful of episodes.
There was also a movie years later called. "Sorority Boys" that had some of the Delta House alumni all together raising hell on a ship. - 1 y
@Dongie There's also the Van Wilder movie (the first one) where Tim Matheson play's Van's dad. Kinda like, Otter grew up and had a kid who is NOW raising hell in college the way his dad did!

Now, there's another mandala!! When I first read your question, it said, "What movie didn't have a sequel but you thought it deserved one"!! NOW, the motherfucker says, "What movie sequel was so bad it should've never been made?"!!
I KNOW GOD DAMNED WELL I saw THAT question, too and AVOIDED answering it! NOW, I find out it's THIS question!!! I DON'T GET IT!! - 1 y
@Dongie What movie is that?
- 1 y
@Dongie I kinda stopped watching t. v. around that time and wasn't paying much attention, anymore, to what's hip and cool.
The only new t. v. I bothered with was, "The Wonder Years", "Heroes" and "Roswell". I stopped going to the movies in the late `70's/early `80's, except when my ex-fiance wanted to go a few times in the `90's.
"Showgirls", "Powder", "Premonision", "The Majestic", "Encino Man" and "Stargate" were the only ones we saw.
The `90's had SOME great music but, most of music died in the mid to late `80's with rap (someone left the "C" off of THAT word!) - 1 y
@Dongie It should've had a sequel.
- 1 y
@FunkyMonkee I did know that. He was in Bonanza for a while too.
- 1 y
I never watched Bonanza so, I missed that. I only recently found out that Felix Silla was in an episode.

1 yGreese 2. That has to be the worst waste of perfectly good film-stock ever!
12 Reply- 1 y
Nope! I think the principal might have been the sam, but it was basically a completely different cast, and the songs all sucked! I mean it’s Greese 2, and you’ve never seen it… What does that tell you? It was really bad!
