What do you think of Anna Delvey being on dancing with the stars?

Anna Delvey is a con artist who basically faked being wealthy and conned people out of hundreds of thousands of dollars. There was a Netflix show made about her called Inventing Anna.

She served almost four years in prison. Upon release she was meant to leave the country but didn't so she was arrested again and put on house arrest hence the ankle monitor.

Here is her first dancing with the stars performance... It's giving... Like... Nothing 😬

If there is any competition at all this will not last long as long has the jury any say in it. Sadly with these shows its often a popularity contest and I fear she is staying😱.

I only ever followed the german version of this show and for me the dancers where the real stars. I loved how some of the stars actually improved and learned to dance ove the course of the show. I couldnt get over the fact that elimimation was half voted by the audience and they never voted for who dnaced well. It was only ever a popularity contest.

Isn’t this like their 20th season? Dancing with the stars is for wash-ups, people who have no career currently but had notoriety and fame of some kind at some point within the last 50 years. Same with The Masked Singer. They have a pretty limited pool to pick from, eventually they’re going to start putting criminals on there. This was the natural progression after including Tonya Harding, the figure skater infamous for paying someone to assault her rival so she could take gold.

We don’t have Dancing with the Stars here, we have Strictly Come Dancing, which has its own huge number of issues. For me it’s wrong in that it was considered, it is giving someone celebrity status who should not be given it. It also shows how low tv will go for viewing figures. Yes people serving their sentence deserve a 2nd chance, however there should be some consideration given to victims etc, her on tv does not show any consideration.

I don't know how true to the story 'Inventing Anna.' was as I imagine they dramatized a lot of it like typical. So I don't really have an opinion on the real woman.
The girl from the show though was amazing and I wish she hadn't been caught in the first place, she was smart and deserved to be rich living that life style compared to half the people who are.

i'll never understand why our country is so damn determined to give women everything. we're trying to make anyone with tits and ass a millionaire for showing them off, and trying to give people stardom for stealing money from others. Hers were not victimless crimes, yet we continue to have little to no sympathy for the victims while we celebrate her and make her actually rich.
