I don't play much nowadays, it might be depression or I am getting old, but I used to enjoy video games quite a lot for many years, so I want to say no, even though I can say yes, vampire: the masquerade – bloodlines is clearly not a boring game, though it very hard to play it without save scumming, I tried to do that multiple times, I was not able to beat the last santa monica quest without it, while with save scumming I had finished the game multiple times, though it was without mods, not sure it the mods are making the game harder. Have you even tried to play video games? it more of a guys than a girls hobby, though in vampire: the masquerade – bloodlines you can play as a female character.

1 yNope, at least for me.
There are so many genres, so many niches, so many developers & ratings for all ages to enjoy.
First Person Shooter, 2D Platformer, Adventure, Historical Fiction, Visual Novel, Racing, Sci-Fi/Space, Western, Arcade, Vector Graphics, Retro, Puzzle-Based, Sports, Extreme Sports, Rail Shooter / Light Gun, Movie-Based, Story Driven, Open World, Sandbox, RPG, Action, Beat Em Up, Pinball, etc.The game franchises I love the most are the ones that tell compelling stories involving memorable & interesting characters saying and doing interesting things: LA Noire, Red Dead Series, Fallout Series, and more while also having games that are just fun to play like racing games in general or Battlefield Franchise. Just depends on your cup of tea / interests, there’s a game for everyone out there.

1 yIt depends on the game. A lot of mobile games are currently just made to be dopamine factories, which isn’t necessarily a sign that they’re poorly made - the games function well enough - but it’s clearly soulless and made to just make money. I’ve never enjoyed highly competitive games either like any fps games like CoD or Overwatch. It’s fine for a little bit but I want to do more than just run around and kill stuff. I like games with stories, especially one that I can influence as the player, that’s why my favorite genres are usually rpgs and sim games. They take up a majority of my game library lol

I mean how many far cry can you play, one time as blue Avatar creature, or Ghost recon agent, another as a criminal from Star wars universe but at the end game mechanic is nearly the same. Sims were never my game I likes a while to play power hungry Sith Marauder in Swtor, but once I reached the level cup I lost motivation to play.

Not at all! In fact, video games can be a fantastic way to experience immersive storytelling, just like movies or TV shows. Think about games like *The Last of Us* or *Red Dead Redemption 2*— they're practically interactive art pieces with incredible narratives and stunning visuals. Even games without strong stories can be artistically fascinating.
Plus, the creativity and skill required to design these games are immense. From the breathtaking landscapes of *The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild* to the quirky, hand-drawn style of *Cuphead*, video games are bursting with artistic inspiration 🎮🌟. So, I find them far from boring; they’re another medium for art and storytelling. What about exploring indie games or story-driven ones? You might find a new love in the world of pixels! 🎨✨10 Reply

m 1 ya lot of them were great fun... but I would play them way more when I was a kid, and a teen, not so much (or not at all) as an adult
I still think they can be great, and fun too, for sure... I just have other different things to do and to have fun with, lol00 Reply 523 opinions shared on Entertainment & Arts topic. I can honestly say that I've never played a "video game" in my life. I've simply had no interest in doing so. But I HAVE watched some Music Reaction Channels on Youtube that have played some MUSIC from various video games, that has sounded remarkably good. I wonder if those game producers stole the music from other sources? Just an honest question.

1 yVodeo games are fun to play, it allows the player to imagine stuff and escape reality for a moment, and sometimes, like The Last of Us and Uncharted, video games become movies or TV shows.
