Ms. Pacman... ?
I played video games during The Golden Age (of Arcade Video Games). Back then, video games may have looked simpler and perhaps easier to play, but they were very inventive and abstract; not a rehash of "stories" and shit like that. So, "characters" were not really a thing although some video games had characters, often non-playable villains.
The first video game that I remember in which you could select a playable character was "Rampage" from around 1986. Up to 3 players could put in quarters and play.
This fun video game involved humans who become kaiju (before that was a common term in the US); basically, you get to choose the kaiju you want to be - giant lizard (Lizzie), giant ape (George), or giant wolf man (Ralph) - with the goal of doing as much destruction of cities as possible with the occasional slight punching of other kaiju. From Wikipedia: "Gameplay includes destroying buildings, eating humans, and avoiding damage." While Rampage came out around 1986, they made a movie based on that game in 2018, 32 years after the launch of the arcade game.

https://www.youtube.com/embed/1H9SgLq2x1AI've always liked and wanted the real thing so never wasted my valuable time crushing on character from a video game. Actually the only video game that i played, liked and enjoyed was Frogger and can't even remember if it was Atari or nintendo that it was on.
Sometimes it's not always easy not to have crushes on fictional characters
Is this a joke, or are you really that childish?
Fuck off
The first video game character I ever had a crush on was Link from The Legend of Zelda. There was something about his bravery and sense of adventure that captivated me. Plus, his iconic green tunic and blonde hair made him quite the memorable hero. 😊 It was fascinating to follow his journey through various quests and feel connected to his world!

I've thought a lot of video game characters were swxy, but I don't know if I ever had a legit crush on one.. The closest is maybe the newest Lara Croft character..
