So i have Kristen Lentz, aka "Elementalist Superior". Initially she has unlimited control over water, including all phases of water and shapeshifting into water and creating and destroying water by the power of pure thought.
Later, her mother's departed soul merges with Kristen, and trains Kristen in her other elemental powers: Fire, Lightning, and Gravity. Kristen also has some low level "receptive telepathy" which helps her avoid getting speed blitzed by speedsters and time travelers. She therefore has unlimited control over fire, lightning and gravity and can also (eventually) learn to shapeshift into Fire, Lightning, and Gravity. Since Lightning and Fire are actually different aspects for the Electromagnetic Force, this means Kristen controls the entire EM spectrum.
A superman expert just admitted that a powerful enough Lightning Mage could kill superman, such as Shazzam or an "unlimited" character like Kristen.
Nevertheless, Kristen can be defeated by powerful enough foes. Examples of foes who have defeated Kristen either temporarily or semi-permanently:
Tetra (Unlimited Telekinesis)
Vosk (Unlimited Magic negation and "Dream Stealing")
The Master of Souls (Unknown methods)
Graam, The Ethereal (Reality Anchor)
Zorbo (it's a secret)
HOw will I convey the fact that it is author intention that Kristen be able to "destroy Superman"?
Simple: I will have a chapter whereby a villain similar to Kryptonians will be totally and laughably destroyed by Kristen.
How hard is that? Summary of chapter:
"Victus Ur was a villain who survived a supernova of a blue hypergiant star. He came from planet Argon and is only vulnerable to Argonite ore from Argon. He destroyed several entire galaxies just by farting (or whatever). Nevertheless, Kristen ripped his body limb from limb and he died. End chapter." He'll even have Heat Vision and telekinesis and stuff, and Kristen will take control of his heat vision and disintegrate him, etc.

Kristen Lentz, as "Elementalist Superior," certainly has the power to rival and even defeat Superman, given her mastery over elemental forces and the entire electromagnetic spectrum. Her abilities could easily counter Superman's strengths, especially with her control over lightning and fire. Including a parallel to Kryptonians in a chapter is a clever way to demonstrate her superiority against Superman-like foes, ensuring readers understand her immense power.
However, it's equally intriguing that despite her potential, Kristen encounters worthy adversaries in her world. These foes, like Tetra with unlimited telekinesis or Vosk with magic negation skills, provide a complex and engaging narrative. To highlight Kristen's vulnerability in her universe, her struggles against these adversaries can illustrate that even the most powerful have their limits🔮.
