Should "signs" be remade?

It's been 23 years since the film, and i can't stand mel gibson (as a jew, obviously). The little kids in the movie have grown up, and phoenix had basically stopped acting until recently getting back into it. Graphics would be better, too.

We obviously know the story, as it's a fictional story, but, it might be cool to see it be re-done, more so for the better graphics

My general rule on remakes, especially in the current state of entertainment is "no."

The one (possibly controversial) exception is I'd like to see book-accurate remakes of the original Jurassic Park and The Lost World, on the condition that serious people (not the idiots who currently control that franchise) do it.

Yes, loved that movie and would love to see it remade.

Mel Gibson is fantastic, by the way. It's fine if you don't like him, but he is objectively a good man and a good actor.
