Why is what is woke in the West normal in Asia?

It is extremely common in animes, etc., where female characters have super strength and fight monsters dozens of times bigger than them. I don't see Japanese men arguing that it is unrealistic for a female character to be able to defeat monsters in combat. In the West, if a woman is more intelligent than a white male character, that is enough to cause controversy. Could it be because the characters are often sexualized? What could be the reason?

It's simple: most white people think the world revolves around them. For a long time, all Western cinema had white people at the center of all its stories. Many want this to continue. White people have always complained about other groups in movies, series, etc. The anti-woke discourse is just a modern approach to what they already did before.
