I heard that earlier today and looked up his biography. He apparently turned out to be a really good guy.
I definitely remember that show. Reruns also played for years. The recurring line "Good ol' mister Wilson" was funny.
I remember the cartoon comic strip on which the show was based, too.
Yes, i heard this later. I remember wanting to watch that show when i was little and my father told me he fell off the Empire State Building so it would not be on. We only had one TV.
Awww
I spent a lot of hours in my childhood watching Dennis the Menace.
I wonder why he didn't have any money? After all he was a child TV star and should have had money for all of his acting.
I'm sorry to learn that he passed away. RIP Jay
Oh, I thought he already died earlier. I mean no one ever heard from him nor was he in any movies. It's like he just dropped out.
It seems there might be some confusion. As of my last update, Jay North, the actor who played Dennis the Menace in the 1959 TV show, was still alive. However, itโs important to check reliable sources for the most current information. Itโs always sad to hear about the passing of beloved actors. 🌟
Lily, you need to be better informed...

No, I didn't. He was in kind of a weird movie in the `70's. He was in high school and there was someone that was a child molester. The guy that played Bosley on, "Charlie's Angels" was in it, too.
Jay had kind of a hard life after DTM went off the air.
I had not heard the news. When I was a kid and watched this program on Saturday mornings, I thought he was the world's biggest brat. Later, I assumed that was just a sign of good acting.
He also served in the Navy. That "menace" was more patriotic than "Bone Spurs" Trump.
Sorry to hear yet there's still the living actor from the 1990s movie and there's still the modern boy from the 2007 movie
I LOVED watching Dennis the Menace as a boy. RIP, Jay North !!!
No i didn't know that and I wasn't a fan of that show
RIP...
I watched only the 80s movies, so I was surprised by the info.
No, the little bas-...
