Hopefully this won't bias anyone, but my favorite of these characters is Robin on How I Met Your Mother. Her "Let's Go to the Mall" video as Robin Sparkles won me over...

Interesting results. 5 of the 7 characters received about the same percentage of the votes, all around 20%, only Monica and Bernadette received notably less. More interesting is that the guys prefer Robin over all the others while the girls prefer Penny over the others.

I’m going with Lily, but in fairness i haven’t watched every episode. My early impression is that she’s kind, loyal, and horny. I like that combination! It doesn’t hurt that she’s also cute.
Phoebe is a close second because she’s also kind and loyal, but i don’t think her sexuality was demonstrated much on that show. That’s not a strike against her. She just lost a point to the horny girl.

Literally every one of the others you listed has cheated, been abusive, and/or toyed with a man’s emotions on their respective shows, usually for comedy purposes. I won’t support that as long as it remains a double standard.
And, yes, that means there are a lot of shows i won’t watch.

Probably Penny. I can't stand Friends and I never watched How I Met Your Mother. Bernadette started out okay, but then she just became an over-the-top and vicious caricature of herself later on. Penny stayed consistent and actually grew and matured over the course of the show.

Never got into HIMYM seemed like a bore..
I liked Big bang theory but didn't like the woman especially Penny, god she's so annoying.. The only characters I actually liked where Sheldon and his girlfriend..

My fave was rachel in friends because aniston was prettiest and her character was like a rich kid getting in to the grit of the real world and then she worked as a waittress but had no clue! It was very relatable. The other gals in those i didn't like. But bbt' was very funny!

From Friends, Monica is probably the most decent, although even she is a bit too whiny. Favorite female character from a TV series, has to be Lois Lane from Smallville. The progression of her character from when she joins the series in season 3 is so beautifully executed. She's my second favorite actress, after Victoria Justice.

When I used to watch it I like Robin based on looks, but I like Lily’s personality cause she was funny, goofy, she was always honey and loyal from what I remember. Robin was too guarded, so what like a dude which I didn’t like.
