Girls, Who's your favourite character from tv series "Friends" and why?

I didn't really have a favourite. Thankfully it was an ensemble cast and they were all amusing in their own different ways.

My least liked was Phoebe. She never really got serious enough for me. And 'Smelly Cat' still haunts me to this day. Never liked the song much.

Ross made me cringe a lot, at how uncool he was. Though I did laugh at him sometimes. "Pivottttttt! Pivotttttt!" (trying to get the sofa up the stairs.)

I tend to not like overly Type-A people in comedy if they're super exaggerated, so Monica's 8 fancy bathrooms towels joke was funny, but she was a bit high-strung in energy for me.

I liked Rachel a lot overall. She was human, flawed, endearing, without being too much of a geek or anything.
Joey and Chandler both made me laugh a lot, and pretty much nothing they did bugged me. I liked Joey's dumbness and Chandler's cynicism.

Overall, a good cast of characters. You can see how much people like this idea, of having a big group of friends, a family away from family. It's the main reason why the show endures, in syndication all these years later, all across the globe. The stories weren't too outrageous, but just interesting enough to feel close to real life. We need another show like this. People miss this.
