I've watched all the James Bond films many times, and they are all enjoyable to watch whether on the cinema or tv. I usually do both.

My preference are the original ones by Sean Connery. The film Industry seemed to do everything better in those days.

I'm not British, but I prefer the older films, up to Moonraker, which is the Bond film I've enjoyed the most. Comparing box office is unfair, because of inflation and currency differences, plus that often includes DVD and streaming sales , which older films didn't have. The better comparison is how many people watched each film. And if you do that. you may find out that more people watched the older films than the later ones.

Trust me ypu are not missing! Brosnan was the peak in bond style, from then downhill in my opinion which is why i was surprised by British trend... maybe due to gamers.

I don't know why James Bond is even a thing. He seems like such a silly character chasing around pathetic thots. A childish mercenary. It's good that he operates covertly as a spy that way he wouldn't embarrass his country as he works.

By far and away prefer the Dalton and Craig Bonds. In my opinion. Dalton should have started earlier.

Much as I like Craig, Dalton is really the archetype Bond.

Dalton's Bond was closer in sophistication and self-restraint to Connery. He lacked the buffoonery of Moore and Brosnan but possessed much of the cold ruthlessness of Craig. Dalton could have pulled off Spectre quite well.
