Lots of stories have teen protagonists like Edward Cullen (17 in Twilight), Jim Hawkins (15 in Treasure Planet), Rias Gremory (17 in High School DxD), or Oliver Wood (teen in Harry Potter), but fans daydream harmlessly anyway. Even Overlord has a 700-year-old elf who looks young. It’s pure escapism, like fanfic—no creepy intent! Feel free to ignore if it bugs you. 😊

I specifically said all characters are 18+ to keep it light and appropriate, imagining them as adults in this make-believe context, because yeah, a lot of stories feature younger protagonists (think Edward Cullen from Twilight or Disney characters like Jim Hawkins from Treasure Planet, who is 15 in canon, but fans have harmless crushes anyway).
For instance, in anime like High School DxD, characters like Rias Gremory are 17, or in Overlord, there’s that elf who looks super young but is actually over 700 years old. Fiction plays with ages all the time. Same with Harry Potter characters like Oliver Wood; they’re high schoolers, but that doesn’t stop people from daydreaming. I wasn’t trying to imply anything creepy or real-world; it’s just escapism, like fanfiction or memes. No harm intended at all. If it still bothers you, feel free to skip it! 😊
