Trending & News One day for whatever reason, my girlfriend and I decided it was a good idea to go to see Pootie Tang after eating a bunch of mushrooms. After 10 minutes it felt like we were in the ninth circle of hell I looked over at my girlfriend and told her we have to get the fuck out of here now and she agreed because she looked terrified. I told her to stay really, really calm and try to look as natural as possible when you walk out. When we walked out of the theater, it felt like everybody was looking at us, but we did our best to keep our composure, but as we were walking back to the car, we had to walk through a mall to get to our parking lot.
As soon as we left the theater, another movie ended and a crowd of people left shortly after we did so it felt like they were following us to the car. Being on the mushrooms made the people look like mannequins from the shops so it felt like a crowd of mannequins were chasing us through the mall. My girlfriend confirmed what I was seeing as she somehow had the same hallucinations I did which further solidified the perception that we are being chased by a crowd of mannequin. I reminded her we were on mushrooms and told her whatever she did don’t run and don’t start screaming. After that terrifying walk to the parking lot, the mushrooms made the parking lot look like a level on the back rooms so it took us forever to find athe car. By the time we found the car of the mushrooms had of worn enough so we could make it home safely
I think twice, but I can't remember the details of the second one. The first one was that I took a girl to see King Solomon's Mines, which was supposed to be an action adventure, something along the lines of Indiana Jones. And it co-statted a then-unknown Sharon Stone, though that meant nothing to anyone at the time.
I remember that the movie was awful - it seemed like a bad B-movie. She agreed, and after 20 minutes, we walked out and asked the manager if we could switch theaters, and they had no problem with that, so we did. I don't remember what we saw - summer of 1985 - but anything was better.
No, since we rarely ever get out to the movies 'cuz it's a big expensive trip to even get there so if we do go we are sure it's something we actually want to see.
And see? I tried to warn everyone flying wasn't safe! I am so never getting on an airplane!
It's not how interactive entertainment systems in Aircraft work but okay. I guess everyone switched to another channel with other movie or documentary stream.
Yes, I walked out of a movie once. It was mostly because the plot felt too predictable and didn’t hold my interest. Sometimes, despite the excitement of being in a theater, you realize your time could be better spent elsewhere. It's rare, but if a film doesn’t resonate with me or feels off-tone, stepping out is the best choice. 🎬

Nope. I paid to watch the movie and they're not going to give my money back, so why leave?
I've seen some really bad movies but not so bad or offensive to walk out of.
Per the description...
Are there little bodies now floating in the middle of the Atlantic? Fish food?
I've walked out of a Bunraku theatre show in Osaka once. It was an interesting cultural experience but... s... o... s... l... o... w. I enjoyed it, but it didn't seem to be building momentum towards... anything really. All theatre, no progress. There may be some parallels with Melania.
Yes bad movies and we get refunds. There was also a guy causing problems in the theater than the police had to come and arrest him, he said I’m a marine and and he said, do you want to go to war to the cops he started wrestling with the police and they handcuffed him and took him away. People were walking out we decided to get a refund, but we went back to finish the movie. it was one of the Star Wars movies
Twice we almost walked out. The movies were Natural Born Killers (I hated that fucking film!!!), the other was Beverly Hills Cop 3, a ridiculously bad sequel to the enjoyable two previous parts.
Haha.. transatlantic walk out 😂😂
Walked out of quite a few movies including borat , South Park the movie and Zoolander and I’m sure at least one Adam Sandler movie although the name escapees me.
I've seen kids leave a movie theater crying because the scenes were too violent. It wasn't a movie for 12 year old kids, rather 16. Maybe the rating was wrong, or they sneaked in anyway.
Yes. That Adam Sandler movie where he played two people. So cringe. The trailer looked funny at the time.
Waste of time. Wasn't funny
🤣🤣🤣
Were there enough parachutes for everyone or was it THAT bad?
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Oh… yeah… the rest of the question. I have never walked out of a theater before a movie was over. I have shut off a movie i was watching at home maybe two or three times, tops. And i have fallen asleep before the conclusion of a movie about five times, but that was two different movies. One of them is now one of my all-time favorite movies. I just needed a friend to coach me on how to appreciate it cuz i totally didn’t get “The Big Lebowski” upon the first few viewings. Now i luv almost everything about it!
The kids weren't scared, but I was. I had to walk out of the Exorcist because I felt woozy. That just proves what a great movie it is!
I walked out on Scarface with Al Pacino. Every other word was a swear.
Look out; an anon troll who supports Trump has been triggered.
Yes, I have walked out on many movies.
I wonder how many people get your joke.
As for the question, no. If I'm bored, I'll just sleep.
They walked out while aboard a plane? How did that work out for them?
Yup benjamin Button. pile of shite. then again I generally dont like movies. You can watch tv at home you know. You dont hve to pay for 2 hours of tv.
I walk out after every movie. I can't watch one twice in a single sitting.
Only if I walked in late and decided to stay for the next showing to see the part I missed.
Nope, never, it's not polite (and I'm not even British) :P
I do remember walking out a a movie years ago. What the movie was I don't recall
gotta meet your daily anti-Trump political quota, I see. What happens if you don't meet it? You lose a bonus check? 🤪 Paid political shills are trash.
Yes, but I worked for the theater at the time, so I could always go back!
Snuck in to the first lord of the rings, left 30 minutes in. So boring.
Yes, I got up and left. I urgently needed to go to the toilet :D
I have not but I've fallen asleep in the theatre.
I always give it a chance.
Yes, but with an usher's assistance.
Yes. A Mandy Moore film.
Yes. Twice.
Plenty of times
No, I haven't.
Yes I have
