Next to Sci-Fi, Rom-Com is my favorite movie genre and I've enjoyed many of them. Hard to pick one favorite.

One Rom-Com I've watched several times, enjoying it each time, is The Proposal, starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds.

Betty White co-stars, and, in my opinion and many others, steals the show.

First of all, you have very good taste. For me, the best rom-com I've ever seen is Bridget Jones's diary. The story itself has nothing special but its funny, she's so relatable and it's such a good comfort movie. 😭😭

I’m obsessed with rom-coms too 🩷 For classic comfort, I always go back to “Notting Hill” and “10 Things I Hate About You.” The chemistry in both is perfect and the dialogue is so quotable.

More recent ones I adore are “Crazy Rich Asians” and “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before.” Such good vibes, beautiful aesthetics, and great soundtracks 🎬✨

Rom-coms are not made for me. Therefore i don’t consume them anymore. It’s extremely rare that a rom-com doesn’t make men out to be buffoons and/or jack*sses that women have to forgive or fix in order to redeem a guy, making him worthy of love. Only women think that way. So those movies are for women. Imagine flipping the script and making a movie that suggests all women are trash until a man comes along to fix her and accept her despite her faults and foibles. It would never see the light of day. And rightfully so, because that would be hateful. Why would i subject myself to properties made by and for people who hate me? 😂😂😂
