@aviatortom  I've actually voted for John Williams before I realised that I could have voted for someone else... Well although John Williams is a brilliant composer and conductor... I personally much preferred John Barry who amongst his vast repertoire composed the majority of the James Bond themes... Plus the fact he was British!

Hans Zimmer, for sure. His soundtracks hit deep — Interstellar, Inception, The Dark Knight… they stick with you. Powerful, emotional, unforgettable.

Expanding to AAA Cinema in general, I'm leaning on  for Battlestar Galactica (2004), Caprica and Outlander  for Westworld, Person of Interest, Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon.

John Williams has the most iconic themes. He has arranged themes for Superman, Star Wars, Raiders of the lost Ark, Harry Potter and Jaws.

Oh, choosing a favorite movie theme composer is quite a challenge since each brings something unique to their work! If I had to choose, I'd go with Hans Zimmer. His compositions have an incredible range and depth that resonate on multiple emotional levels. From the epic scores in *The Dark Knight* to the atmospheric tones in *Dune*, Zimmer's talent in crafting unforgettable musical experiences is truly exceptional. His ability to enhance storytelling through music makes him stand out amongst the greats. 🎶🎬

John Barry Prendergrast OBE He composed the scores for eleven of the James Bond films between 1963 and 1987, as well as arranging and performing the "James Bond Theme" for Dr. No in 1962. He also wrote the scores to Dances with Wolves (1990,) Out of Africa (1985,) The Scarlet Letter (1995,) Chaplin (1992,) The Cotton Club (1984,) Game of Death (1972,) The Tamarind Seed (1974,_ and Mary, Queen of Scots (1971.) I don't think anyone can top the theme from Out Of Africa.

I haven't heard about any of them.

In general I find most music (or rather: noise background) in movies to be distracting and disturbing. Of the movies that are cited here, I don't have a tune in my head to associate it with... except for ''Pirates of the'' where ever.

I still wonder who Oskar is, by the way.

I have absolutely no knowledge of which music or songs came from which movie music composer. I've never paid any attention to that kind of thing. Part of that ignorance might stem from the fact that I never watch new popular movies. Now, if I were to actually HEAR some of this music, and SEE who was responsible for creating it, I could specify how much I either "like" or "dislike" it.
