What is a PG-13 movie that you think should’ve been rated R instead?

The Ring and Sucker Punch


The Ring was really scary and thought it could have been rated R especially since I saw that at the time when I was only 11 or 12 years old and it haunted me for days.

Sucker Punch for its violence and mature themes of girls basically heavily implying being raped or molested by the men that visited the place the main character was in.

Why Forrest Gump?

The Duchess and The Wedding Crashers. Both had scenes where it was obvious (and very erotic) that someone was getting a handjob/getting fingered.

Live Free Or Die Hard. When I saw it in theaters I was like, how is a Die Hard movie only PG-13? Then later, film criticts said the same thing, that they were shocked it got away with getting a PG-13 rating

When I used to rent movies I NEVER had an issue because of the parental signs. I think PG-13 was more like light swear wordss and violence. Rated R was more blood, nudity, and a lot more swearing.
