Which movie do you consider stupid or overrated?

Oh God, there are SO many of them! EVERY single superhero movie ever made, especially the Marvel ones, even though I like Scarlett Johansson, and she plays 'Black Widow'. Most Disney movies, especially anything made within the last 15 years or so. Kostas mentions 'Star Wars', and I have to agree with that choice. I mean, what's so special about 'Star Wars'? Seriously, it's juvenile, and as I understand it, even George Lucas himself said as much just after completing the very first one way back in 1977. And finally, remakes, or as they now like to put it, "reimaginings" of original, classical films that just didn't need to be remade! Ex. 'War of the Worlds', 'The Day the Earth Stood Still' and 'The Time Machine', although 'The Time Machine' remake wasn't all that bad (but compared to the original 1960 version with Rod Taylor, just can't compare). Anything with Keeanu Reeves in it. That guy just can't act, and his film choices are usually poor.
I agree, Marvel is such garbage, but it's so beloved by Americans, because they created it. It's basically our Anime, and its success is something we're very proud of. I'll admit "Venom" wasn't too bad, but not something I would rewatch, and I used to like Spider-Man as a kid. I might still watch the new one just because I've seen all the other ones. I always preferred the superhero cartoons honestly. The only decent Marvel movie was "The Punisher". The first one. That's the only one I know of that wasn't a superhero movie. Plus, I lost a lot of respect for Stan Lee after he did a meet and greet and wouldn't allow himself to be photographed. But whatever to each their own.
"Star Wars" was originally dubbed a "Cult Classic", so yes, I don't think even George thought it would become as mainstream as it did.
Yeah, Disney started going downhill around 2005.
I've only seen a couple remakes that were better, the rest are just awful. We don't talk about "Journey to the Center of the Earth"😂 I did like the "Around the World in 80 Days" remake even though it was SO far gone from the original story.
Most horror remakes are crap. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
You don't like Keanu? I like his movies, but I'll admit the guy isn't really that good an actor, like Nicholas Cage and Steven Seagal.
STAR WARS THAT SHIT DOES NOT MAKE SENSE
I've rewatched it like forty times trying to understand it but OML its actually impossible
Last movie made me feel like that was " bullet train "... Too many simpletons gave it the hype and I fell for it lol... If we're talking all time, " apocalypse now " comes to mind... " the horror... The horror "... I'll tell you the real horror was watching the movie xD... and " silence of the lambs "... Cheap and overrated... This is by no means a masterpiece lol... " taxi driver " is not THAT good..." the pianist " is super dorky and pretentious... it's like a play... It's nowhere close to Schindler's list... Schindler's list is a freaking masterpiece although very traumatizing...
"Eraserhead", for one. Pretty much any movie written by Steven King. "Creepshow" and "The Shining" being the only exceptions and I still don't think the story line of The Shining was very good. It hardly had anything at all to do with the kid being psychic and mostly about his dad being a psycho!!
"Crash" was kinda stupid.
I'm sure there are other movies but I can't think of any, at the moment.

Paranormal Activity, There's no way that shit is real
I have heard from multiple sources that Roadhouse with Patrick Swayze is one of the best movies ever, I think it is one of the dumbest movies ever. Can you imagine the lawsuits you would get if you hired people to bet the crap out of customers.
Star Wars is definitely my number 1. Firstly, why are they out of order? Secondly, I flipped to it a couple weeks ago out of curiosity and they showed that green alien thing on some dude's back talking and honestly, it was creepy as fuck! I don't know how anyone can enjoy those movies.
lol why are people mentioning Twilight? Twilight is awesome
I don't like it.. it's too cliché
Pretty much all movies! Haha! I like a lot but the last 15 or so years damn… I lose interest in the avengers movies after end games, mission impossible movies at like 3 and pretty much all “series” are just painful to me.
"Guardians of the Galaxy". It's the one Marvel movie I couldn't get into. A friend had to talk me into seeing "Guardians of the Galaxy 2", which I'll admit was a little better.

The latest Velma movie yet to see it, but waasy too much bad buzz on it, can't be that bad right?
A movie called Unfaithful, It was about a woman who cheated on her husband with a French man.
The whole Movie was boring and It felt like the director was just Turned on and wanted to make a scene 🎬
OMG there are so many! In terms of disrespecting the source material it would be hard to top the Hobbit trilogy, which Peter Jackson basically disowned. Essentially he blamed Harvey Weinstein for the whole debacle.
Lots of them, but probably the worst offender is "Elf."
I hate Men in Black but I loved it when I was a 16 year old.
All series of Twilight.
👏👏👏
The Shining. Everyone raves over it but I think it's an incoherent pile of shit.
Frozen. I don't like Frozen.
Majority of the Bollywood movies.
Marvel movies.
Any attempt on remakes of any kind.
