How good are you at chess and what is your first move?

I have 2100 blitz rating which is pretty good. Aiming for 2500 to reach the grandmaster level.

I understand the fundamentals, but i’m no strategist. I usually open with a pawn that gives a bishop access to the board. If i’m black, i mirror my opponent’s opening move.

I am a queens pawn guy. I am not great and still learning but the more I play the more my rating increases so I haven't met the end of my skills yet.

Sure. What do you want to know? Its gonna take some time to master it so you must be ready to put in some effort.

My queen always get captured too early.

I know thats because you shouldn't move your queen too early in the opening. Your opponent has lots of minor pieces to move and your queen will be easily threathened by them. Its a small board. You want to develop your other pieces first to get a good position. Then you make an attack to capture your opponents good pieces while keeping yours. Once you keep doing that your opponent will have less pieces to defend their king and then you can look for a checkmate to win. This is the main idea but it takes lots of practice.
