Who best portrayed God on screen?

Lots of people have portrayed God for entertainment purposes, but who did it best?
My first “God” was George Burns from the “Oh God!” trilogy. I thought Morgan Freeman’s casting as God in “Bruce Almighty” was clever. I was a big fan of the series “Lucifer”, and Dennis Haysbert’s portrayal was inspired, as far as i’m concerned. Alanis Morrisette playing God in Kevin Smith’s “Dogma” was just silly, but memorable.
I’m sure this list is far from comprehensive. Feel free to name your own favorite God as portrayed for the entertainment arts. If you don’t like any of them, who do you think would do a good job portraying God for the screen?

Dunno, but I honestly think that the vibe Russel Crowe had playing Zor El in Man of Steel was PERFECT for if he were playing god.

The second last guy 🥈 even though I haven't seen his version - he played a professor in Spy Kids 2 that implied he could understand how a God could hide in the clouds from his creation dreadful and fearful of it

Morgan Freedman us amazing, if ge works on something he makes sure its got the elements for gold... and his smooth, sultry, "southern black" voice makes me melt.

Alanis Morsettes performance was just... priceless, though.
