    I'm not sure.
    I guess it's possible.

I've gotten along well with every dog I've met, except one.

When I was a young guy, on weekends, my gang would frequently go to a rural log cabin on acreage owned by an uncle of one of the guys.

It was a great place for us to have huge parties.
On occasion, the sheriff would come by and ask us to turn down our stereo.
He'd say that the noise was upsetting the cattle on a nearby ranch.
    Lol.
    He was cool about it.
We were drinking underaged and had pot running out of our ears.
The sheriff never bothered us about that, which was REALLY cool.
    This was in the '70s.

    Anyway, back to dogs.

On one weekend, one of our buddies, Scott, arrived with his newly acquired dog, very late at night after everyone had crashed.

I went squirrel hunting early the next morning before everyone else had awakened.

I returned to the cabin when people were starting to stir.

I was carrying my.22 rifle, four squirrels, and I was wearing a western hat.

Scott's dog, an Australian Shepherd, saw me coming and he apparently didn't like what he saw.
He went nuts, barking and growling at me.

Ever after, when I'd be at Scott's house, that dog wanted to tear into me.
He was fine with everyone else.

Weird is the only word I have to describe it.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it. 😊

nowadays she could get easily kidnapped by anyone who talks nicely to her... or offers her some food, lol

I think dogs are really good to sense a whole lot more than we do, yes... but their ideas of what is good/bad... positive/negative can vary

As humans we think it's clever not to judge a book by it's cover. But that's like buying a book with a roast chicken on the cover titled 101 chicken recipes then being surprised it's only about chicken and there's nothing on Greek mythology.

Dogs are different, they act like store security guards. A store security guard knows he can't watch everyone so he keeps an eye on people who look or act in a certain way.

We all do that to a certain extent but when we detect danger we keep quiet, we fear it will provoke or perhaps it's just politeness. We somehow know which woman is going to be a total Karen or we'll feel uneasy when certain people stand behind us at the ATM machine. Dogs don't have that filter, if something doesn't feel right they'll call it out.

Yes I believe they can. I've had many dogs and I can tell you they're very sensitive to energy from experience.

  • Dogs are amazing at reading body language and energy, not “good vs bad” in a moral way 🐶✨
They pick up on tension, fear, aggression, inconsistent behavior, and changes in smell (like stress hormones). If someone moves unnaturally, stares too hard, or has unstable vibes, many dogs react wary or defensive.

So they don’t magically sense “evil,” but they’re very sensitive to negative intentions and emotional states.

All I know is that dogs 🐕 seem to really like me. They jump up and sit next to me the very first time they see me. And they also run towards me and jump all over me and I have never been around it before. 🤔

My cat absolutely adored me and I adored her as well. She was so smart and acted like a dog sometimes. Like when I would twist my empty cigarette pack and throw it across the room, she would run and get it and fetch it back to me and put it on my feet! 🐾 She was unbelievable and I loved her so much!
    RIP Abby Girl❣️

Dogs are basically walking truth detectors. They can't read your mind, but they're the closest thing to it. They are exceptionally good at reading body language, and their incredible sense of smell allows them to literally smell your emotions and the chemicals they emit. They're more sensitive to body language than humans are.

So yes, they are usually pretty good at sensing bad people or people with negative intentions.

But indeed they can with the ability to detect body language, smell and hearing. I know that dogs are better at eye contact than most humans are and that is why I enjoy being near dogs and how I miss my Italian Greyhound Rudy more than anything that was ever made.

I know dogs can sense impending seizures and sniff out pot and other drugs when trained.

But bad people? They can mask their intentions. You can't smell that. You can train a dog to attack someone who's trying to hurt you, however, like police dogs are trained.

To a extent. At some high security locations they have a guard dogs who know everyone who is permitted to enter. They can tell if someone is not who they pretend to be.

Yes I think so, my dog definitely can. when I have a friend that he likes comes over high or drunk my dog knows and treats them completely different. If I get drunk or high he wants nothing to do with me. Its kind of wild if you ask me.

Dogs can sense stress and emotions but a psychopath doesn't have any and dogs can't read their minds.

I think they can tell when you're putting up a front/deceiving, and can sense what you're feeling. Some are rather sympathetic when you're feeling down.

They sense adrenaline, so they presume that the person has bad intentions, though, sometimes, adrenaline is not related to aggression, it can also be related to fear, depression, or stress. So, dogs can be wrong too, they can't be 100% sure.

Yes !!! Dogs can sense bad people, that's why they're trained to police departments to aid in catching criminals.
