I've watched it but only seen season 1 and only a little bit of season 2. I may go back and watch the second season. I'm not sure yet because so far it wasn't as good as season 1.

The boys universe is different than marvel universe. Superheroes are not idealized there. They can be pretty good, pretty evil or pretty average.
