Just like @Lliam I would want my have the opportunity to talk one last time to this close relative and them them all the things I forgot or did not want to tell them when they were alive, either because I was too proud, too busy or just because I made the excuse that I had no time for them.

All the "I love you" that were not spoken are useless now and I would thank them for having done all the things for me that I thought were natural and took for granted but that required a sacrifice from their side.
