They had quite a few hits like these three that I particularly like.

I liked adolescent Bus Stop. Then they will all grown up in Long Cool Woman in a black dress. I've always liked 4 part harmony in the first and the hard rock/blues style in the second. I also liked the Byrds, Yardbirds, and also the Stones who always sound like a bar band because of Richard's 5-string guitar and tuning.
The Hollies who were inspired by the late , great Buddy Holly were an iconic band from the 1960s. They had a string of hits and included members Alan Clarke and Graham Nash. I thought that they were good.
Up until about `72. "Long Cool Woman In A Black Dress" was the last cool song they did. After that, they got wanky.
Yeah! Honestly I didn't know they were the band performing any of these songs, but I remember and like all of them.
My favorite is ¨Hey, Carrie Ann¨ which was written for Marianne Faithfull.
I love at least one song by The Hollies.
I think they were ok. Not bad but not great either

I really like The Hollies 😊 Their harmonies feel so bright and emotional, and they’re such a key piece of that 60s British pop sound. “He Ain’t Heavy, He’s My Brother” always gives me movie-soundtrack vibes, the kind that plays in a slow, emotional scene. They’re one of those bands that quietly influenced so many others without always getting enough credit 💿🎶
Yeah, and the pussy john fogarty sued them because 'Long Cool Woman' had similar guitar riffs with 'Green River'. Heh, green river wasn't much of a tune!
