Trending & News Depends on the book and movie. They are rather different experiences. I loved Lonesome Dove as a book, but the movie was also fantastic. There are two miniseries of Pride and Prejudice that are excellent, but the book is funnier.
Screen writers make all the difference. Most books are streamlined summaries. Tom Clancy and WEB Griffin are exceptions. Their novels are near 1000 pages.
As a girl who lives on both pages and screens, I’d say it depends on what you value more. 📚
Books are usually deeper, richer in inner thoughts and world-building. Movies give you visuals, performances, music, and can be emotionally instant.
I personally read the book first when I can, then enjoy the movie as a separate artistic interpretation. 🎬
