Oh boy…. I guess I still have a bunch left to see, although I’ve been to a ton of shows. A lot I’m afraid I missed the boat on, because someone crucial died or they’ve just gotten too old to perform. I’d say I’ve seen the majority of acts that I’d be particularly keen to see.

I want to see The Fugees or at least Lauryn Hill. I had tickets a couple summers ago but they cancelled the tour. I was just saying to someone on another question that I had missed Freddie Gibbs recently, so I’d like to catch him next time. I haven’t seen Boldy James or OT The Real yet. I’d like to see Tool. I’d check out Pearl Jam, but not if it’s $2K to be up close like last time they toured, lmao. Mariah Carey would be cool to see. If there was ever any kind of 90s R&B festival, I’d definitely hit that up to catch a variety of artists. Jay-Z and Nas, never saw either of them.

Oh, Dipset would be huge. They were my favorites like 20-25 years ago, in my heyday. Never caught them live. Not sure you could get them all together, though, plus I think there’s beef in the crew. But a lineup of like Cam’ron, Juelz Santana, Jim Jones, Hell Rell, and JR Writer would be sick. Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd, if they got back together for tours; although I did see Roger Waters, and that was all Pink Floyd material. And I guess I’ve heard enough Kendrick Lamar material by now to justify seeing him, and J Cole too. I guess I’d see Drake if it came down to it, lmao.

I’m sure I’m forgetting a bunch, but the majority of the ones who have gone unseen are mostly due to death or breakup. Wish I could’ve seen all of A Tribe Called Quest or both members of Mobb Deep, but death is final.

There are no bands currently playing out that I need to see. All the bands and artists I want to see are the ones my parents and grandparents saw, and they got to see them all !! I get to watch videos. LOL

That would be a very long list. It would include everyone from the Beatles at the Cavern Club, the Stones, The Who, Led Zeppelin, The Yardbirds, Deep Purple, Ozzy, Jeff Beck Group, Little Feat, Allman Bros, Pink Floyd, Journey (original band), Yes, King Crimson... the list goes on.

How is it every current top artist is sold out in every city for their tour but everyone on here is talking about artists from 30 years ago and more?

The younger generation is a bit underrepresented here so maybe that’s why current artists weren’t mentioned as much 😂 I think people can wish they’d gotten the chance to see some of those legends live while they were around, while also having plenty of current artists they love and would happily pay to see. Many of us "older folks" (you know, like 40 and above!) just don't like the majority of music being put out by today's top artists. Here's today's Top 20 artists globally, according to Billboard Magazine:
Taylor Swift, Bad Bunny, Beyoncé, The Weeknd, Dua Lipa, Harry Styles, Billie Eilish, Drake, Olivia Rodrigo, SZA, Ariana Grande, Travis Scott, Kendrick Lamar, Rosé, Jennie, Jungkook, BTS V, Doja Cat, Bruno Mars, Rihanna ... I either don't know or don't like enough of their music to endure a stadium crowd and the expense to see any of them. The cheapest ticket all by itself is about $125 USD, and that's a nosebleed seat. Most are closer to a $300 average.

Just one? 😫 There are too many I want to see! If I had to choose only one, it would be either Kelly Clarkson or Adele. Kelly because she’s ridiculously versatile and can literally sing anything but I absolutely love Adele’s catalogue and the emotions in her songs, so seeing her live would probably destroy me. 😭😂
