This is just a little rant to those disgusting femi-nazi bitches who think they're better than women who decide to stay at home and raise their children, make sure their houses are in top shape and cook good food for their husbands/boyfriends/partners.

I couldn't be happier taking care of my 2 beautiful children and being there for them every step of the way, just how my own mother was. I also love the fact my husband appreciates my efforts at home and tries to help me when ever he can, when he's not working. He gives me time to myself. I feel like I am the Queen of my castle. He doesn't abuse me, boss me around or think he's better than me. I could not be happier in my life.

To have a bunch of bitter women, tell me that my lifestyle is not acceptable, is DISGUSTING. I have literally had women I used to work with, tell me I threw my life away for a man and I made a huge mistake and that my husband is just taking advantage of me. They want more right for women, yet they abuse other women who don't fit their "ideal life style".

Fuck you and your pathetic "movement". Being classy and respectful and acting like a lady will never die out, no matter what you all say. If you want people to respect you, then you have to respect yourself. I will teach my daughters to be careful and always act like respectful young women, and not sleep and mess around with every Tom, Dick and Harry all because "society" says it's ok. I will also teach them that they don't need to show their breasts and assests to get their message across. No one in their right mind will think highly of a woman who shamelessly shows her body just to get a message across.

You want women to have "rights"? Then why don't you go and start your "campaigns" in countries that give women no voices, if you really care about our rights?

Good for you! To put it in their terms, "You go girl!" Feminism is about choice, at least that is the propaganda that they always say. But God forbid that A woman chooses, or is thinking of choosing to choose something "unnaceptable" to them, the true purpose of the movement comes out. To destroy any lifestyle they deem "sexist" aka traditional. I'm sorry but if its really about choice stay at home moms like yourself and my friends' wives wouldn't be harassed by these sexist pigs. Women who are at least considering being stay at home moms wouldn't be harassed and told they have "internal misogyny" that their men "are taking advantage of them" or they are "worthless".

One of the main goals of feminism was to get more women out of the home and into work and breaking down the traditional family unit. You can find plenty of quotes from well-known early feminists attacking marriage, the traditional family, even claiming that children should be communally raised and that women shouldn't have the choice to stay at home and raise their own children.

My girlfriend has been attacked in the same way for staying home with our baby rather than going back to work and putting him in a nursery. I will never understand people who have children only for strangers to raise them while they go to work then see them for only an hour or two at night before they go to bed, and they actually think that's better for a kid than being looked after by their own Mother. My girlfriend has worked in many nurseries and agrees that she would never put a child into daycare as most of them are terrible, like they'll see a kid crying and rather than comfort them they'll dismiss it as "attention seeking", especially if they're crying because their Mum just left. At such a young age the bond with their Mother is important and it's only natural for them to want her not to leave them with strangers.

As for this idea that you threw your life away and that your Husband is somehow taking advantage of you, that just goes to show how fucked up their mindset is. Me and my girlfriend work as a team. Whatever I earn is for us all, whatever is mine is hers. A married couple are supposed to be a team, not competitors. Enjoying raising your kids isn't throwing your life away at all. These people define their worth by their job and the amount of money they make, and I think it's sad that they'd rather spend most of their time doing that rather than spending time with family. The number 1 regret most people have on their deathbed is that they wish they'd worked less and spent more time with their families.

Totally agree, being raised by a stay at home mother I've come to appreciate and understand all they do. I don't think a lot of people truly understand or know just how much they do and how difficult the job really is. And I find it silly that some people have children only for them to be raised by strangers I honestly believe in at least one parent being present while the child is growing up. And if you both work, well you had better make time for the child instead of seeing them for only a couple hours each day.

I have the highest respect towards stay at home mothers and encourage it actually, as for the "empowered" working women if they want to work then all the power to them but don't have children if you can't fulfill the duties that come with being a mother. And if you simple work same as your husband then you both need to make time for the children and make sure they are adquetly taken care of and looked after, by you two.

i totally understand and think it's a difficult job and all that! I've just always been hesitant to think it's a great plan of action because you do sacrifice everything.. You are solely dependent on your SO so what would happen if they wanted a divorce or died or got injured and couldn't work... You'd have no way to support yourself and kids! I mean you can go get a job, sure, but if you'd been working on building a career you would be a lot better of financially...

The point is to have a CHOICE of what lifestyle to choose. And the feminist movement started in order to give women that choice, in a time when choosing to be a career woman or independent or sexually free was impossible. No lifestyle is inherently better than the other.

If it's true that some feminists are judgmental about how other women chose to stay at home, it's also true that some traditionalists think that if a mother has a career, or goes on a date, or has a life outside the house she's a shitty mother. The world is full of idiots. Remember, we are in 2015 and there are people that still believe man used to live with dinosaurs, that vaccines are bad and evolution is bullcrap. Hell, I even know people that still think the Earth is the center of the universe, so what to expect?

You made a choice that works for you. Great! I'm glad you and your husband are happy. But there's no need to insult those who made a different choice - a woman is no less classy or respectful if she has a career for example or if her ideal life is different to yours. If you want others to respect your choice yet insult them because of theirs, you are a hypocrite and no better then those "disgusting femi-nazi bitches" as you call them (just a side note: your choice of words and the general tone of your take don't give an impression of you as a classy woman at all). Some women make wonderful homemakers. Some make great contributions through science or art or whatever career they choose. It's all good, there isn't just one way to live a life. Being a mother is an extremely difficult job that requires many skills and endless love and patience! I think people are so caught up in wanting more and thinking bigger that they forget that people have limited amounts of energy and different aspirations. If they want to be working mum, thats great for them but if someone else wants something different then they need to respect that. We are all unique, everyone knows that!

THANK YOU!!! I am a stay at home wife and mom. I do love staying home with my two daughters and love them to death. One is 7 & the other will be 4 in December. So soon in 1 more year I will be off to work when my young daughter starts school. But be proud of yourself because I am.
