My brother and I get along great sometimes. But for the past two years he has been very abusive and using hurtful words to put me down. I am currently dealing with being overweight and trying to be healthier. He will hit me randomly and when i try to stop him and defend myself (without hitting him) he hits me ten times harder. He has even pulled knives on me and held them to my throat and has put his hands around my throat and cut off my air supply. He is 16 years old and is taller plus stronger than i am. i am 18 i know pathetic that i am letting him get away with this but i do not like to hit or verbally abuse anyone since i was bullied growing up. I cannot tell my parents what is going on because i live in fear that he is going to do just hit back at me harder. I do not know what to do and i am reaching a point where i am just at my wits end. He judges what i wear and tries to make get clothes that he likes so he is not humiliated by me when we are out in public. He has even told people at school before he graduated that he did not have a sister and when he talks to his friends who know me he claims to be humiliated by me. I do not know what to do.
