Why does his brother hit on me?

So I asked my crush out, he said no, is now chatting me up at every corner. I'm just gonna sit on that until he breaks lol

Now, I directly work with his brother on a team and my crush works in a different department. All of a sudden my crushes brother is hitting on me. I keep telling him no, taking a step back, it's hard because they are both really good looking but brother has a long term girlfriend.

So I guess I don't know what his game is. Why all of a sudden is the brother flirting with me?
