would you be sad/mad if your significant didn't want to see you everyday? maybe just 3-4 times a week? and wanted the rest of his time with friends or by himself or relaxing after work. just wondering

you're lucky you get to see your boyfriend 3-4times a week, i only see mine once a week and its only for like what 4 hours? its because when he works i dont, when i work he doesn't, so our timing isn't as great, but we try and make it work. He also sleeps in till the afternoon and i only get to see him on weekends, then i have to get home to cook dinner so i only get to see him for like literally 3-4hours, its a bit rough and i do wish i would see him more often but its just we're just so busy and our timing clashes sometimes. Sometimes I don't even get to see him each week, sometimes its once every 2 weeks depending how busy we both are. He's a low maintenance guy so i dont talk to him every single day, which is good cause i gotta get those high distinctions for uni. He also lives like 40minutes away from me so its a bit of a trek. I don't really mind this cause it makes me excited to see him and want to be with him, but however sometimes i feel like i wish i could see him on a weekly basis cause then i start to feel like 'ughh i really need to see him now'

i dont think you should be angry, people have their own lives, and own issues they have to deal with. if he wants to relax and spend time with his friends, then so be it, let him do that. if you're paranoid, then you should talk to him about it, dont hone him, just casually bring it up, communication is key, trust me. you'll be fine gurl

don't be offended or upset about this, boys are different to girls and they need their space. girls are always talkative etc etc but boys need their 'men' time and shit like that, so just let him have his space. don't even stress about this gurllllll, you'll be right :)

I pretty much agree with yannick. I'd be kinda offended if they outright told me that they didn't want to see me everyday, because I honestly believe you should like your girlfriend/boyfriend enough to want that. I know my boyfriend tries to see me at least once a day, even if only to say hi and get a hug.

But I wouldn't get mad if we were just both busy, or if he had made plans with his friends. Sometimes you just don't see each other as much since you both have lives, and that's fine.

No, I think its healthy to spend time apart- my best friends would not be my best friends if I saw them ALL the time, I like my space, and I think relationships that are romantic are similar, just as long as he's not straightforwardly distancing himself from you because he wanst you guys to break up or is starting to become more emtoionally distant than before. xxx

your question is too broad for a simple answer. too many variables. how long have we dated? what about our jobs and schooling? what are our personality types? how far apart do we live? etc, etc, etc.

If this guy wants to see you 3 or 4 times a week, that means he's devoting _half_ of his free time to you. He sounds very balanced: he likes seeing you regularly, but he has other obligations and interests. He's got every right to his free time, to his family, friends and hobbies.

I think many people get too wrapped up in new partners, _way_ too quickly. Especially at your age. And to be blunt, I've dumped girls because of complaints like this. "Why can't we see each other more often?" Because I have college classes three evenings a week, and I need a little time by myself and with my friends, too. "It's not fair!" You knew my schedule when we started dating. "It's not faaaair!" {insert sound of me dumping her for nagging me.}

honestly I like seeing/talking with my girlfriends every day. but it can be too much. I would be offended though, because you know, some weeks it just happens that every day you have something that you can do together and some weeks you don't. some weeks you have a lot of free time, some weeks you're really busy. so I think I would be offended that my girlfriend just wanted to see me 3 or 4 times a week, she shouldn't be calculating, because if you're really in love, you want to spend as much time with your boyfriend/girlfriend as possible, and sure, a lot of times you don't because you know you both need a little space to do something on your own and you don't have anything special to do with your partner that can't be done at some other time when you would both have missed each other a little. my point is, space is good, but it shouldn't be a matter of numbers, it should just feel right.

Well, let's say I think you should try to be calm and understanding (it should always be the case in a relationship) but I think you should still talk about your feelings about it to him. just talk about it with him and share your feelings without being aggressive, that will give him a chance to maybe explain himself better.

Supply and Demand. The less he see's you the more he looks forward to those days that he does. If you see each other every day, it would get boring and kind of awkward( "Hey hows life? what you do yesterday?" "hung out with you" "oh") see? talking everyday still is good, but you don't need to see him everyday. might make you seem clingy...
