Guys, what's a good comeback for "let's just be friends"?

Guys, if a girl you're interested in tells you "you're so nice/sweet/good" or "let's just be friends", or you feel like you're about to be put in the friend zone, what's a good comeback (words or actions) that can make her instantly change her opinion about you (i.e., see you as "not so nice" and more of a challenge)?

Girls, if you ever felt the urge to turn down the advances of a "nice" or "sweet" guy, what could he have done to change your mind right away? What could he have said or done to make you realize, "this guy is more of a challenge than I thought...maybe I don't have him all figured out and he's not that easy to have." Be honest, now ; )

Are there SPECIFIC things I can do or say to be more of a challenge, BEFORE we become "friends"? I appreciate it if you don't think there are SPECIFIC behaviors, but I do have a reason for asking. Thanks for the responses, I would love to hear more.

well when I think a guy is attractive but I turn him down by sayinf your too nice/sweet/good so lets b friends it means he's not what I'm looking for in a boyfriend meaning he's probably clingy and wanna take it fast or some stuff along those lines

what a guy gotta do to change my opinion is show me that he doesn't need one more friend( aka me lol) but he has his own thing to do he is busy but can fit me in his schedule. what makes a friend a friend is that you always spend time with them you do compromise a lot for your friends like where you going tonight

so yea best thing is don't tell her everything a little mystery is always good before getting serious it keeps things spiced up in a way

oh and def don't call much and don't text much and flirt like a player but act like a real decent guy its a combination that always makes girls kinda confused is he the bad boy type or the good friends type

I am hesitant to possibly ruin a friendship by dating a friend, but I have never thought a was too nice or sweet to date. I have turned down guys that seemed too pushy or needy, just relax and be yourself. One possible course of action is to just keep being her friend, but don't treat her like a girlfriend.

Thanks, it does help...if I may ask, what "specific" things did those needy guys do? What simple actions/words would have convinced you otherwise/made you think differently of them?

The needy guys were just tried to push me too hard into a relationship. Any time we did anything fun he would try to kiss me or hold my hand and it just seemed like he was trying to force it. I like it better when I am able to make the first move. One of my guy friends told me he was interested in being more, but left it up it to me. We dated for a while and it ended up not working out, but the fact he wasn't trying to push me into anything was what I liked the most

if a girl is not interested in you move on. we say that because we don't like you. no comeback is going to change that. I already know if I like a guy or not so nothing he says as a comeback is really gonna make me change my mind. there are a million other girls out there, someone else will appreciate him

A number of things. maybe I already am into someone else, I can't see us together, he's not attractive, he's not my type, I don't like how he dresses, he could be rude or annoy me in some way, or we just don't have chemistry.

It won't change her opinion, but then again, if you got friended, few things will. The time to act like her lover, rather than her friend, was at the beginning, and every moment since.

I see...I agree, but to clarify, what if this is the beginning, or you've met her just recently, and you do something she calls "sweet" or "nice"? And you haven't really consistently been acting like a "friend"? That's more what I was driving at.

Whatever you did that was "sweet" or "nice" was mistimed, probably a bad habit you need to purge.
