My parents won't let me come home late?

I go out with my friends sometimes and i come home usually around 1 and maybe sometimes 2 am. my mom tells me that i apparently need to stop coming home late because "i dont pay bills"... that dosent even make sense? she wants me to come home the latest 12 o clock but usually when im with my friends i have to rely on them to take me home and i can't demand "take me home now" to them because most of my friends dont have their own cars and things are not gonnna be on my mother's timing. it's not like im out running around with my friends or with boys doing innaporpiate things. we just had a big argument over this. she dosent shelter me in the home or not let me go out but she dosent understand what im trying to explain especially when in the past i have asked her to pick me up from a friends house or something and all she would say is no and i'd have to figure out how to get home on my own.
im 18 by the way turning 19 in a month, how should i talk to my mom more about this?

Try to see her perspective.
Look to how messed up the world is: Drugs, Guns, Mobs and Crimes all are resulted or either morally bad friendships or just bad luck.
And with you going out as you please she feels that your freedom is growing on the expenses of your own safety and her guidance for you.
I would say never try to go against your mom head on. You should keep in mind that she only want the best for you. Your friends might change overtime but you mother won't.
You could try to introduce your mom to your friends and their families. Let her know where do you all spend your time and give her a chance to find and contact you if you were away too long or out of reach.
I have been there in that situation, even though I never told my friends for my reasons of me going back early on them, they knew and respected that (Some others also had my same situation too which made things easier for me).

Move out if you don't want a curfew. I'm sorry but you need to respect the rules of their house. It's not up to you to understand why they say that because you don't pay bills. You're in their house

She is right you are an adult unfortunately her home her rules goes with any one you live with this is what she is comfortable with. If you don't like it. living on your own would solve this

If you do not like your parents rules, move out & live on your own. Simple. Parents do this out of love & to help guide you, not hurt you or hender your fun.
