They treat me like a child. They want me to do things their way. I don't understand why?

When you're gone they can only imagine things but they worry

They don't think back and say we gave her morals values and ethics we put a good foundation under her feet to grow from

Because you will always be their little girl they will always love you and they love you deeper than you'll ever even know because they don't actually come out and tell you or allow you to feel that because of the words they use when they're talking to you

I don't care how old you get they're always going to be like that that's how deep they care that's how much they actually love you when you're gone in their minds anything can happen they're thinking about you at all times like I said because you're still a little five year old girl

So you have to put yourself in their shoes don't argue with them put yourself in their shoes and understand why they feel and why they say the things they say and if you can actually do that you would apologize to them because it is killing them it makes them hurt everyday when you're not around because they don't understand that you are grown up and that you have a brain and that you can take care of yourself all they know is you are still their little girl they want to keep you safe and as long as you're in that house with them they feel better so you have to understand everything they're going through the same time that you're trying to find the reason why you can't do what you want to do if that makes any sense so when you do go home give them both a big hug looks and steep into their eyes and acknowledge that you love them and thank you for caring so much but tell them you put a good foundation under me you gave me morals values and I think I'm okay I'll be okay and I love you so much everything you've done but I will be okay and I will be okay because that's the way you taught me it's not just all about you it is truly about them you just don't understand that yet and one day when they're gone you'll be pissed off of yourself for thinking or feeling the way that you're doing it now you should always put yourself in their shoes

Probably more of whatever the fuck you're doing right now instead of getting your ass back home. You can't afford to live on your own - then you do what parents wants you to do.

If you are on your own then tell them to get lost and mind their own business. If they are still insisting that you have to do things their way, then when you have enough evidence, go file for order of protection. Thats your life, not theirs.
