Why is my mom acting weird now I have a new boyfriend?

So in the past when I have had boyfriends I watch the disappointment in her eyes. An she usually slates the guy I date before she meets him.
End of May I got with a new guy. He is better then any guy I ever dated in terms of how he treats me as a girlfriend. He already talks future an wants the same things as me.
Our own business, to live together and kids one day etc. Most of all to do just be happy an enjoy life together as a couple.
I know I have met an incredible person not just for love but friendship too. He is romantic bought me flowers takes me out.
When I told my mom I met someone she was like oh who. An asked questions. We then went out again an I met her after work with some flowers she thought it was from my sister as I did her a favour that day an evening before.
I said no it's from my partner she was like oh ok but you don't have a a vase. I actually did though with fake flowers in so I used that.
Then I talk to her about moving out. An she's like oh he's moving you in already but when you know you know in my opinion. An I am not saying I was gonna move out like in a few days.
When I then mentioned it again she was like oh he wants you to move in then. Like in shock or like oh I didn't think it was for real. I was like I am 22 an do want to move out this year.
She changes subject or looks annoyed. Then she's like oh you don't want me now cus you got Alan but I was like well am I meant to want you your my mom lol.
She had me so emotionally attached to her I didn't go out, didn't socialise , didn't date for a while. Didn't have boyfriend till 19.
Now I am very happy and cheery an looking forward to life. My mom just turned 55. Since I got a boyfriend. She talks to me more from her room , comes in my room sits on bed and talks a lot. Constantly wants attention.
I would understand if she was single but she's married 7 years now. An it's not my job to be emotional support constantly I am her daughter not partner.
When I was out other day she told her work friend oh it was weird that my daughter wasn't home other day. An her work mate said she won't always be there.
Now now she's distant grumpy , moans if I don't reply to her.
its like face reality and accept I am a grown woman 😂

How long have you been dating the new guy? And she is your mother, she just wants the best. Instead of getting mad, why not sit down and ask her what her concerns are and talk to her about them. Tell her you would like her to have dinner with you and the new beau. It isn't that you want to move out I don't think, but more so that she thinks you will lose contact and not be as close. Reassure her that yes the dynamic of your relationship will change, but you will visit and always love her. You moving out doesn't mean that you are leaving her life, just her house. Good luck :-)

Not even that long few weeks lol. But already she acts crazy an yeah I know. Too soon for dinner

If its to soon for dinner with your mom, then its to soon to be considering moving in with him. That would be logical. If you really like him and can see a future then there isn't a big reason to rush into living together. Try staying on weekends at first, then add in a weekday. See if your schedules and lives mesh well. Then talk again about moving in. But I would advise at least 6 months. Let the honeymoon phase of the relationship end and then see how you feel about it. There is nothing wrong with taking time. You have at least 60 years ahead of you if this is the one :-)

Look I didn't say I am moving in tomorrow I mean like next few months you know when you know an nobody else will get that as they aren't in the relationship. An my mom has no say it's my life. timeframe is nothing to do with it an who said rushing an that it's happening soon lol. Lol there's no phase if you like someone an click then that's that. It's not about waiting to see if it will go wrong. I am a very positive person an I have took 6 months knowing him before we got together so I knew what type of guy he was. Sorry I didn't mention it above

I take time in every relationship I have had lol. If you knew me you would know what I am like lol. I don't rush a thing that's just how I am but since meeting the right guy I am keen to move in as he is also opening a business that he wants me to join him with.

I think maybe she is afraid that she will lose you. Because now you have a boyfriend, and she feels she is having to compete. Hmmmmm. My mum had been similar actually. Especially because she did not like my boyfriends that I had much at all

I wouldn't worry about it Shan it's just her being jealous.
Let her have a moan and get upset and you just keep moving in whatever direction you want.
She will get over it eventually over time. She just likes to make waves to try and get your attention
