I'm 15 and homeschooled too. We can be friends if you want. You know you're actually luckier than me because you live in a place where you can work at the age of 16 unlike me.
It has been 4 years since my parents homeschooled me and up until now i still feel like a friendless loser or like i don't belong wherever i go. I miss being busy and having friends, doing projects together, sharing the latest news about our classmates last year and basically everything.
I also feel the awkward atmosphere when I'm with my old classmates that i only meet once (or twice if im lucky) a year when one of them invites me to their bday or i see them at the mall.

Same but I'm a girl. I used to go to school but I started homeschooling in 9th grade. All my friends from school stopped texting me and I got really depressed because I didn't have friends. Recently my mom's friend's granddaughters moved here and I'm friends with them now but I'm still hella lonely. Maybe ask someone to take you to the park and try to make friends there¿
im in the same boat lol. did you ever go to public school? maybe have some people that you know introduce you to more people. or do an activity at the local public school. i don't know the exact rule, but i'm pretty sure they allow you to do sports/clubs/etc. there if you're homeschooled. (im homeschooled too, i just have no interest in that type of stuff haha)

You need to involve your parents in addressing this problem.

I’m 13 at the moment I’ve always been homeschooled I had a couple of friends before until middle school then everyone started hating me for some reason it’s hard I’m alone and feel depressed a lot my parents want me to meet people at our new church and I have nothing in common with any of the kids I have 2 neighbors that are a bit older than me that I feel I might maybe get along with but I have no idea how to start a conversation..
Aren't their home school networks so kids like you can socialize with one another?
