How to make friends when you have none and your homeschooled?

(I'm 15 by the way) Since I've started homeschooling last year in 9th grade I've slowly lost all my friends that I had in school and now we never talk and I just stay home all the time with no friends and I havnt posted on social media in over a year since you know I have no friends to like anything I post but now I want to become social again, post on social media and have friends to hangout with but I don't know where to start even with making online friends since I never go out, it's weird to just approach strangers, I never post on social media anymore, I already know everyone in my area since like kindergarten, I don't want them to think I'm weird once they find out I have no friends and I've basically been dead to the world the past year so do you have any tips to get back a normal social life and make all totally new friends and to start from scratch at my age (ps I don't want any friends in my town since I know everyone I just want to start new since I'm not same person I was when I was younger that is shy, stand off ish, fat and I feel like the people that know me still see me only like that since that how I came off for years to them I've really come out of my shell and have practiced being more outgoing and warm to people and I've lost a lot of weight that's why I would like to move to a nearby town or city and a new school but my parents are saying no)
