Best way to ignore someone who is trying to provoke you?

I have this ex best friend who I no longer speak to. Even though I haven't really done anything she cut me off but thing is that ever since then she's been passive aggressive. You might think someone who cut you off would not bother anymore but she just won't stop it seems. She's provoking me right now, I'm trying to ignore it but I'm starting to get pissed as I feel like she has the nerve to do so.

In what way is she provoking you? Physically or verbally? Either way, the best way to deal with someone, as I have experienced, is just to ignore them. When a person is poking at you they want a reaction; they want you to get angry. So don't feed her the attention like she wants. I know it's difficult but when you wake up tomorrow you will be glad you made the decision to stay cool.

Both physically and verbally. Not so long ago she named me as a bitch. I haven't done anything at all to provoke her except for trying to be at peace with her by attempting to have a talk but she turned me down so I accepted it and moved on with my life and yet here I am. I ignore it but since it's been going on for so long I'm starting to get really pissed.

If it's getting too serious, you can always scare her off with a single phone call for the police. These kinds of people are self-centered and find entertainment and sanctuary (for themselves) in attacking another person they deem "lesser". If you take this seriously and bring in the authorities, she'll shut her mouth, or at least keep her conceited banters to a minimum. I hope you somehow fix this. Girls are nasty.

WoW!! She sounds like my ex best friend too. The more you ignore her the more she gets pissed off. I love it keep on brushing her off it hurts her more. That's what I been doing they just want some attention. I can't stand people like that they want to be the center of attention ALL the time.

Really? Yeah I'm trying to brush it off! I have to admit though that it is kind of entertaining but I'm starting to feel like it's bringing me down since it's been going on for so long. I don't understand these type of people at all.
