What to do about my dad being a fuckboy?

yes i said it. my dad is a fuckboy. i never dared to say it before because im very respectful of my elders but he has crossed the line. he has always been rude to my sister about her weight (she is kind of overweight, and i was too when i was younger but then i got really into sports and i love going to the gym so i stay in shape now) That is ALL he talks about to her. LITERALLY. every time he see's her, he asks when she's going to get a gym membership. every time she eats, he asks why she's eating so much. every time she comes home from somewhere, he asks if she ate a lot while she was out. she got braces recently and can't eat that much because it hurts and she was crying about it, but he laughed and told her to calm down. and started talking about how maybe now she'll lose some weight and will be pretty. she was like am i not pretty right now? he was like you really think that round figure is attractive?
i just could not believe my ears!! he called his own daughter unattractive!! and i have recently gained about 5 pounds since i've been going to college and always eating out and now he's all up in my business about my weight too. the other day he said im getting "a little plump" and made fun of me and my sister in front of our uncle. our uncle just looked at him like he's stupid. because he is. he is wayy too concerned about our bodies (and dont even get me started on how he is with my mom) im just so done with him

I never understood why it bothers people of they claim to like how they look and such... Anyway, if your dad really is as drastically disrespectful as you make him out to be, then I'd just ignore him... But you're probably over exaggeration only because he called you plump and you felt offended by it... But anyway, learn to ignore others and not let the. Get to you... If you care so much, then lose weight to shut them up... Otherwise take it as blah blah blah and don't mid what others say.

Another thing yiu can do is get a good paying job and get out of your parents house.. If you're old enough to do so.

2 years older then you!! thats how old. he is THE definition of a fuckboy. he's constantly worrying about womens bodies (and always checks out other women in front of my mom, saying he wishes she lost her pregnancy weight already and that she better stop eating so much), ALL he talks about with his overweight daughter is her weight, he laughs when he see's women cry, im pretty sure he cheated on my mom before, and the only reason he likes me the most out of all of us (he's the only man in the house) is because im in shape and am a tomboy. i've met guys my age more mature and respectful then him.

Your dad needs a nice polite kick in the teeth. You should stand up for your sister. He is abusive, and it sounds like your sister gets the worst of it. He may just be an asshole. He may not realize what he's doing. Either way he needs a wake up call.

i have no idea. everything seems alright like he's married, has a job, enough money to get by (we aren't richh but never had major money problems), he has family, and he usually seems to be in a good mood but his personality is just ridiculous and i never really noticed it before when i was younger i used to think thats just how men are but now that im older and know better, i just lost respect for him
