Why does my ex still wear the bracelet I gifted him?

we were together for 5 years and it has been almost 2 years that we broke up. after break up we didn't talk for 9 months and then he texted me on my birthday saying I hope you didn't think I would forget today and now we just text each other for birthdays and stuff. I moved to a different city after break up but he is friends with all of my friends. I have been seeing his pix with friends and in every single pic he is wearing the bracelet I gifted him, doesn't matter where it is he is always wearing it. it really bothers me because I threw out everything he had given me even though I liked all of them but I just didn't want anything to remind me of him. but seeing him wear it bothers me. is it not a big deal for guys?

I don't understand y people break up and suffer intentionally! Both of you love each other & 5yrs is not a less time girl. throwing away things doesn't pruv you hate him don't want him back,wat matters is you still care & question arises in ur mind y he's wearing d bracelet.This & other things pruv you Both Love each oder.I would suggest be friends wid him talk to him,go out wid him as a friend,wen you 2 bcum a bit habituated den talk nd sort out abt d reason you both broke up.Begin ur relation wid a new phase,remember 1 thing girl Love is greater dan anything,u both love each other & you 2 shud b wid each other at any cost or you two will cause each oder more and more pain.

That's something I don't understand about guys too...they keep things even if they already broke up with you. I thought girls are the sentimental ones? either that or they just really don't care =) I threw out the stuff my ex gave me too...If I see them they're out. How did you two broke up anyway? I agree with ankurunderdog people should fight for love but also know when to back off of course.
