I accidentally sexted my mom... help?

Soooo... I accidentally sexted my super conservative mother who does not believe in sex before marriage and things like that, *regardless* of age in our culture. I'm dying of embarrassment. She's on vacation and will return soon, and I just feel extremely nervous... She replied by saying I had texted the wrong person, and I said something like "oh oops" (trying to not make it sound super serious) and she hasn't replied. I'm worried she will be very disappointed in me :( The only good thing is that the whole text wasn't sexual, just a little part but still.. I'm trying to not freak out, any positive advice or something? So far I'm thinking of just saying I was talking to some girl about advice I don't know... I originally meant to send it to my crush who I've recently grown close to. Thank you in advance 😓

Well, first things first, you are above 18, so you are your own legal guardian, so you don't have to worry about that. But really it is going to come down to talking with her, unfortunately. at least that's what I think. If your relationship with her is important, then you should talk this out, however, if it gets to the point where she is unwilling to forgive/understand you and all judge, judge, judge... you have to distance yourself from that and consider giving her time to cool down. But you should say that "it is my choice, I respect how you feel but I have to make choices for myself, you can't make them for me" That is important! She can't change you, she can give you ideas, but only you can change yourself and it is your choice, not hers. You should do this respectfully but you can not allow her to walk all over you. You have to know when the conversation is constructive and when it is no longer helping anybody. I will be honest, I share your moms same view, but I am not going to preach to you. It is up to you to decide what is important to you. When it is an open discussion stay but when it gets to trump vs. Hilary argument (where nobody wins) walk out politely

I'm very lucky the conversation was extremely short and I was able to brush it off easily without her getting upset. Usually, it would've turned into a Trump vs. Hillary like you said haha. Well I've been dating him for a little while and hadn't told my mom so I just said crush lol. And yep I'm definitely in that age range, and care deeply about what she thinks due to my Asian culture. Respect for parents is huge in it and it doesn't matter if the law says I can do whatever at 18. No she wouldn't take my things away but I would have disappointed her.
