Why is my boyfriend so over protective?

I have been with my other half for over 2 months now and he is very protective over me, its getting to the point where I feel guilty about going out with friends and enjoying myself whilst he is sat at his house... Is this a common thing or can it be sorted?

the man jas no self control, now jelousy is a natural and expected part of being in a relationship (however I would say only knowing someone 2 months ISNT a relationship)

but the way you have described isn't good.. when you said you had the talk what did you say and what did he say.. how does he react when you go out.. is there somthing that trigers him acting this way.. has he always being like this or is it recent?..

if this is somthing recent what heppened to trigger it.. if he's always been this way I would recomend leaving him and finding someone else, explain to him that you never did anything behind is back and you never would but he needs to self control..

it happens sometimes. time to have that talk with him. maybe he has his reasons. tell him what its doing to you and tell him to ease up a little and have faith. and that you won't hurt him.

if you feel like you are wrong for going out with your friends then something is wrong. there is a difference between a protective guy and a controlling guy. why is he trying to "protect" you from your friends? you need to check this dude. you deserve to enjoy your life and he needs to stop trippin, why should you sit at the house just because he is insecure?
