Why is there such a difference in these adoptions?

Adoption abroad has become huge in recent years with other countries often making it much easier for foreign couples to adopt. Many white families adopt Asian or African born babies, and though visually it may seem strange to onlookers, it has become more or less more acceptable these days to see such pairings.

But what about a black family? Why is it seen as practically completely outrageous if a black family were to adopt a White child or an Asian child, or any child outside of being black or mixed with black? In both black and other communities it's seen as practically self-hatred, or racism towards the self, or some sort of betrayal to adopt this way. Why is that so?

I think it's because the vast majority of interracial adoptions have white parents. I've seen dozens of white couples who adopted a black or Asian kid, but I've never seen it the other way around. Not even once.

I think this is because of "white guilt." For some reason, white people are the the only race that feel like they need to "fix" the wrongdoings of their ancestors. This is fucking stupid, as people have zero control over what their ancestors did.

I'm not against interracial adoption in the slightest. In fact, one of my best friends was born in South Korea, and was adopted by a white family. All I'm trying to say is that I don't think other races have this "guilt," so they don't feel the need to adopt outside of their race.

Maybe for some people, but I don't think most know their history that well to know that, yes, my great great great whoever actually owned slaves. Plus guilt may be a thing, but physically going out and adopting a whole person seems like an extremely insane way to channel that.

I mean if we're going to turn into a country that starts banning abortion in favor of adoptions, then when people, whomever those good people are, take the kids in, we shouldn't stigmatize it or them.

i think its due to the high standards that other races out on white people due to that era where we had slaves and ran our country like a business more than developing country like its being ran today.

thats stereo typing i think not to mention that age of repression is done and over with but most people prefer to hold a grudge and not change for the sake of hating a race due to a minor social discord which was fixed. though not widely accepted like it is now.

but people love living in the past with how hate prevails so much in every race.
