My boyfriend's twin hates me. Why is she like this?

I get along very well with his parents, they seem to like me a lot, they always treated me very well since we were just friends, especially his mom. I think she is probably the closest thing I've ever had to a mother.

But for some reason, I can't possibly get along with his twin sister, she doesn't like me at all. She is always trying to argue with me about everything, she doesn't even greet me when I enter their house and she's frequently talking bad things about me to her friends at school. My boyfriend is always trying his best to get us closer to each other but it's no use. I don't remember anything I could've possibly done for her to treat me like this. Why does she treat me so bad? What can I do to improve our relationship?

her brother is probably her best friend since they are real close in age and doesn't like that you're taking his time away from her and now it is on you. It probably isn't so much she doesn't like you as a person but doesn't like the fact you have her brothers time. i have twins in my family and they are really over protective with each other.

She might be jealous of your bond. Twins tend to be more attached to each other than regular siblings. She might feel she's losing her bond with him (though she probably isn't) just because you're the girl in his life. She'll get over it eventually; don't take it personally it's just a twin thing I'm guessing.
