My friend compliments me too much?

I have a friend that compliments me wayyy too much , at first I was like aww she so sweet I love her compliments she's makes me feel good lol but then it became to much where it was literally every second plus she stares at me a lot , like I would see her from the corner of my eyes just staring at me and im just like wtfff lol it's kinda creepy after awhile I'm starting to think she's a little obsessed with me lmaoo what do y'all think about this? What does this behavior mean?
