My boyfriend's best friend's girlfriend drives me up the wall! I seriously can't stand her. She tried being friends with me and she told me that she almost cheated on her boyfriend with her ex and I told my boyfriend because I felt like I should...i know it sounds like I broke girl code but she went so far that she lied to her boyfriend and told him that she was going out of town to see her family and she went to stay with him for the weekend and staid with him at his apt! I just thought it was f***ed up! After my boyfriend told his friend the two of them worked it out but she won't talk to me and if she does talk she has an attitude. Tonight is her bd ay and we are going to a party she is having. What should I do? I haven't seen her in awhile and I am afraid I might get p*ssed and start something...what should I do and say to her?

As for whether it was right or wrong, I think this kind of thing is a personal matter for the couple.

I don't know that you did anything wrong though if you were acting out of genuine concern for your boyfriend's best friend. In the future (and I know this from experience) you should do what you can to convince her of telling him on her own. Maybe say that you will unless she confesses first if you have to. That way you don't step out of place, but you made sure that the best friend knows about it, because I suppose he should.

By the way the reason for doing it that way is to avoid animosity and getting involved, while making sure that the proper bases are still covered.

Yeah, it seems like you're stuck together at this point (unless they break up or you and your Boyfriend break up). She can't trust you and she's mad at you, so she's going to continue to have some kind of an attitude. I'd say ignore her the best you can.

She is pretty much a stupid random ass girl that just so happened to be dating the OP's boyfriend's best friend.. She was the one who told what she did and the OP did the right thing by telling her boyfriend. Cheating is unacceptable and this girl doesn't respect her boyfriend. Why should the OP respect her secret? She shouldn't.
