I'd watch my could-be child's birth. Although it may look and smell gross the beauty of it and the happiness you experience as a parent would outweigh it all.
I've never seen a woman give birth in person, but I had to watch a video back in 7th grade health class. If any of use reacted verbally or looked away, we'd get detention. I didn't look away, but I remember feeling grossed out and thinking to myself "this isn't nearly as clean as TV or the movies portrayed it"
But if I've seen it once, I can see it again, and I would watch my baby being born.
What was it like for you, and what did you love about it? I may also have a different perception than most other men given that I’ve had the opportunity to personally deliver many babies. Every birth is somewhat different from others. I’m impressed by how much women can handle!
Given that I’m not female, will you elaborate a bit more? How were the births different from each other? What specifically did you like/enjoy? How painful was it for you each time, and what helped you handle it most/best?
I have an insatiable curiosity, so I’d love to hear your thoughts. I’m not easily offended/grossed out. I may know plenty about female anatomy and physiology, but I have no personal experience as one to know what things are truly like.
I was with my wife for both kids, but was paying attention to her - focusing her breathing, holding her hand, etc. no time to actually watch much of the birth.
Now it's definitely both. However it's really gross when it's other women but when it's me and my familia then it's the most breathtaking thing ever (figuratively and literally).
A mix of both. My father said he was happy when he saw me getting born but he was disturbed by seeing my mom's stomach opened since I wasn't born normally
I have been to it twice. You dont actually sit and look inside but are sitting on the side holding her hand. Seeing your chikd for the first time is mind blowing.
I haven't ever given birth, but I don't exactly get a choice whether I want to be there and watch or not when my children are born. I imagine it is both beautiful and a little visceral.
Well it's not clean and peaceful, that's certain, but that's the most beautiful thing a woman can do. And I would totally watch it. I don't mind all the stuff going, I'd be worried if I saw her suffer of course.

The birth of a Baby is a Miracle... I can't help but cry. (Some of my crying is sympathy for the Woman's pain)
Awhh but it's not painful to give birth, only the contractions are
I see... I'm just watching Her sweat, and cry in pain... And I can't take the pain away from Her!
True

That's the thing about TV. Even "reality TV"- it isn't (reality).
I was in the delivery room and I’ll never do it again
Haha why not
It was gross and fuck no I didn’t cut the cord either
Haha my hubby cut my kids cords. With my first it was huge and got blood everywhere. My second I left the cord on for longer it wasn't as gross
Birth isn’t gross at all. It looks like hell for the woman though.
I personally loved it

I have two kids and they were both very different births, I love every part of it even when it got painful.
Then again, I’m also examining the placental cotyledons, upon delivering the afterbirth, to ensure that nothing is left behind to cause problems.
Given that I’m not female, will you elaborate a bit more? How were the births different from each other? What specifically did you like/enjoy? How painful was it for you each time, and what helped you handle it most/best?
Maybe I could PM you later this is a lot to explain

It's pretty scary, but I wouldn't say gross! Depends how your stomach can handle a little bit of blood fluids.
I think its beautiful. I'll let you know in 3 months when my son is born
Congrats! I bet he will be beautiful
He will in my eyes. Can't wait

The blood seen is gross but the process and finalization of bringing life into the world is beautiful.
Hopefully your 3rd baby will come before your 23rd birthday.
No possible I'm about to be 23 in a few weeks
Yeah. It would be a miracle if you got pregnant and gave birth within weeks considering the fact you're currently not pregnant.
Yeah I mean I could get pregnant on my birthday. That is very possible
What does your mother & father say today?
What?
My father has something like a blood phobia and he gets disgusted or scared easily when he sees gory scenes
So they have no fond memories of your birth?
Awhh c section baby🙂
It's a mix of both to be honest. Personally, I'd want my partner there but if he didn't think he wanted to see, it'd be okay.

I've never seen it, but I think it's a beautiful process and I would definitely watch it
Would you ever want to deliver one of your kids?
Yes, I would like to be there for my kids
Awhh cute
I caught both my daughters as they were born. Its an incredibly visceral process. But I thought it was fascinating and beautiful!
It's gross to watch but I guess it's a beautiful thing also
Well only a mother and father would know for sure. But it is quite the experience
I'm used to seeing blood and other bodily fluids so they don't affect me at all. honestly, I think giving birth looks extremely beautiful to me :)
Well it's not clean and peaceful, that's certain, but that's the most beautiful thing a woman can do.
