Where I live - the poor cities have thousands of CoVid infections while the rich cities have less than 2 - you want a rich neighbourhood where crime is not a regular thing - you also want a neighbourhood where a lot of children and teenagers live because neighbours are kinder there when children are around

Guess that would depend on what climate you'd like, if you'd like to live in a state that has mountains... If you're more a city or country person. And then it's best to check the crime/employment/cost of living statistics for that state.

Won a green card?, where's balkin? If I moved I'd go a bit more north cause unlike it a little colder maybe on of the dakotas, colorado is beutiful tho.
