Nah, my family and friends stopped asking me that in my mid 20s: I guess they just assumed that it wasn't going to happen (damn that's sad isn't it?)
I don't discuss my love life, or lack of, with anyone outside of my close friends, and my mom knows I don't want children. So after a while, she let the subject go. My parents are more concerned with me now doing well with my life, how my job is going, and being successful over having a relationship.
I'm not sure how I feel about the fact that my family seems okay with me being single rather than trying to get in a relationship. It's as if they assume, "Well she's not going to find anyone, but at least she's doing well with her life!" LOL
Nah, but im familiar with that. Dont mind your parents, wait as long as you want till you find the one.
I'm actually pretty open with me family, when it's brought about me not wanting to get married or have kids.
I'm not against finding a relationship, but I just don't think marriage is necessary, as I'm not religious, but I could change my mind on either of them in the future.
My older siblings and cousins absorbed that for me, and now that the younger ones have started marrying too, I think I'm off the hook- mostly, anyway. Yet another advantage of having a big family.

(Actually 19 sorry for gag age)
I tell my family fairly frequently that I’m going to (hopefully) get married when I’m 23 and want to have kids at like 25. I joke around and say “start looking at plane tickets mom, wedding’s in four years.” Tell my siblings “yeah you’ll probably be an aunt while you’re still in middle school” and things like that. Tell my mom how many years til she can be a grandma.
Now at 19, obviously nobody’s pressuring me to get married or have kids, or even worrying about it. Occasionally a family friend will ask if I’ve got a boyfriend, which is fine. I joke and casually mention marriage enough that my parents joke about it too, say things like “oh is this boy?” And I wink and say “I’m workin on it” and I don't know.
It makes me happy. I like when they question me, I often try to trigger it by saying vague prompting things because “it’s free therapy y’all” (jk I just like to ramble to someone about everything going on inside my head and sometimes feel bad when that’s always my friends).
Nah 23 is still pretty young, I dont wanna settle down until I'm approaching 30
@MillieBrunette I’ve always wanted to get married and start a family young, but I realize it’s a lot sooner than most people hope to.
At my age, I am too old to have children. I have been married previously and made a bad choice so no one wants to see me rush into another marriage. No pressure here.
I already am married and have children but the questioning still happens. It just turns into when will you have another baby? And I absolutely hate when family ask that shit
Yeah. But they know that I do everything at a snail's pace.
My sister is begging me to get married but I have found one that won't cheat on me
Yes, sometimes.
