Was it right to cuss at both my cheating boyfriend and his mother?

I found out he cheated in Oct 2018, then stopped and then resumed cheating several times just last month. His mother never liked me and always critcized me. She gossiped about me to others. I had to still be polite and try getting along with this fake, liar for his sick.

Now that he cheated, I cussed the hell out of him. His mother heard it all and started with an ''I knew you were never good enough''. I replied with an ''Oh STFU, f*** both of you, I don't have to pretend to get along with you anymore. I never liked you either, you fake, lying gossiper. I only did it for your son's sake. Go f*** yourself. Same for your son.

I had nothing to lose anymore by then. I didn't care anymore. There was no point nor purpose in pretending to get along anymore. I've been tolerating her rotten behavior for nearly 4 years. I had enough.

I was orginally gonna just cuss at him (I was pissed off with him) but she got involved in the argument and insulted me first. So I lost it. Maybe if she had understood her son cheated, I might not have cuss at her. She started an argument not for her.

totally okay to curse him out, the mother I guess it depends, mother's always side with their sons or daughters no matter how wrong they are, kind of a respect to elder thing you shouldn't have cursed her out period however there are much worse things in life I wouldn't sweat it.

I guess that was my breaking point after tolerating her BS and fakeness for 4 years, then getting insulted once again. I think there comes a point where enough is enough.

Thank you. That lady asked for it for getting involved in an argument not for her. My anger was directly focused on him, not her. If she would've kept her mouth shut or maybe realize I was upset for a good reason then I wouldn't have cussed at her. So since she insulted me, I lost it by then.

I just didn't care anymore. I hated that lady. I put up with her garbage for too long. If she had not mocked me and got go involved in our argument (or realize I was mad at her son for a good reason instead of still trashing me), I might have not cuss at her. She added more anger to me.
