When my two were born I found them ugly. I actually hated these Aunties (and still do) who are getting overly excited about some stranger's kid.
I almost got angry once, when a hen exclaimed: ''Just like the father...'' - it was my DAUGHTER! and with two or three months she looked like a wrinkled maggot.
Parents have a right to feel happy about having a child of course. But to ignore reality is not the way to go.
I suppose, but I feel like most babies are pretty objectively ugly til a certain point, haha. If I had one, I’d probably be joking with my lady already about how ugly our own baby was, and blaming her for it, knowing me😂

Most babies look ugly lol when they’re a few weeks old, I was pretty ugly as a tiny baby lol.

Yeah, because that's rude.
People need to understand that just because something is true, doesn't mean that you have to say it.
It's like me coming to a friend's funeral and saying "people die everyday, this is just one funeral out of many", that's true but rude as hell. There's a time and place to spit facts. It just makes it worse when it's an opinion that wasn't even asked for.
The person needs to make sure they're out of earshot if they're going to do that.
I would think so, it's not a proper or right thing to do for sure
Not really. Most kids are ugly to a stranger. Parents obviously like the kid because they have developed feelings toward the kid.
