I think probably the best way at first is to point it out to them with humor. Like if they say something to you in that tone of voice, laugh and say "now why would you say it like that?" Kind of like a "light hearted" way of pointing it out to them.

The only way to deal with that is to confront them directly in a very serious manner. Tell them to knock it off or your friendship is over. But when you say this you have to actually mean it and not be afraid to walk away.

Give them specific examples of things they have said and why it offends you. I swear to god unless you are willing to walk away and mean it this friend of yours will never respect you. The same is true of any relationship. If someone is being offensive or disrespecting you... your partner has to know that cheating or treating you wrong means they lose you forever. Without that basic fear they will use you and walk all over you.

just like a relationship romantically. Treat it like a breakup. If they dont agree to change and actually show it in actions. Go no contact literally forever and ever until they apologize.
